Steve T. DeMarco

Having lived in Charleston for over 45 years, I have experienced the growth of Mt. Pleasant, the rebuild of the Greater Charleston area since Hurricane Hugo, and the evolution of Daniel Island, where my family and I currently reside. After attending Ole Miss, I pursued my passion for the restaurant industry, which included being the proprietor of The Market Street Mill, Jimmy Dengate’s, and The Griffon Pub where I met my wife – Melissa Runey-DeMarco.

I pursued my Real Estate career to allow more time for our family and our 4 active daughters. Our family spends many hours on the soccer fields, tennis courts, game nights, and doing homework! Having both of our extended families nearby, we spend many weekends together at the pool, beach, and at Edisto crabbing and fishing.

Both Melissa and I are grateful to be able to raise our children in the Lowcountry, with the “Lowcountry lifestyle,” and are looking forward to the continued growth of the Charleston area!
